For this week’s ROM of the week, check out TrickDroid ROM for HTC One.
Available for AT&T, T-Mobile, Developer’s, Unlocked, or International, TrickDroid ROM gives you the latest Android 4.2.2 without all the HTC bloatware. TrickDroid ROM is a very lightweight ROM that also gives you the option to remove all Sense and install AOSP launchers like Nova or Apex.
I’ve been actually been flashing/following this ROM since its beginning and it is certainly one of the best Sense ROMs out there (without Sense) for the HTC One. Also TrickDroid ROM developer Torxx has been making some excellent ROMs for other HTC phones like HTC One X so you can’t really go wrong with a great developer behind it.
Other cool stuff on TrickDroid ROM include its own TrickDroid Settings which allow you to further customize your UI like your status bar, buttons, change recent apps style to AOSP, and some more. Battery life is excellent on this ROM along with faster performance over stock.
TrickDroid ROM isn’t loaded with a gazillion features you don’t need but just a dozen of features you might really need like the Android 4.2 PhotoSphere camera.
Overall, TrickDroid ROM is highly recommended for beginners and flasholics out there so if you haven’t tried it yet, install it this week(end) and do let me know what you think!
